Position Overview

WilkinGuttenplan is seeking a motivated Entry Level/Experienced Audit Specialist to join our expanding Audit team. In this role, you will have the chance to enhance your professional journey through continuous training, collaboration with colleagues on various projects, and receiving direct mentorship from our skilled Audit professionals. You will be instrumental in delivering exceptional service to our clients across multiple industries, including Real Estate, Life Sciences, 401k, Technology, Not-for-Profit, and Healthcare.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in executing audit, accounting, and other consulting services for clients.
  • Prepare detailed and organized workpapers to substantiate audit conclusions.
  • Ensure proper documentation in line with firm policies and auditing standards.
  • Work collaboratively with the engagement team to complete projects within established timelines and budgets.
  • Utilize analytical skills to address complex accounting challenges and specialized tasks.
  • Build new client relationships and strengthen existing ones through exceptional service.
  • Thrive in a dynamic work environment serving a diverse clientele.
  • Engage in ongoing education and professional development.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting.
  • Actively pursuing CPA licensure; a current CPA license is advantageous.
  • 0-2 years of relevant experience as an auditor in a public accounting setting.
  • Experience in servicing a wide range of industries such as real estate, 401k, life sciences, manufacturing, and technology is beneficial.
  • Ability to manage various assignments within deadlines.
  • Excellent collaboration, communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Teams, Word, etc.).
