Position Overview
WilkinGuttenplan is seeking a motivated Entry Level/Experienced Audit Consultant to join our expanding Audit team. In this role, you will have the chance to develop your professional skills through continuous training, collaboration with team members on various projects, and direct mentorship from our experienced Audit professionals. You will gain valuable exposure to multiple industries, including Real Estate, Life Sciences, 401k, Technology, Not-for-Profit, and Healthcare. Your contributions will be essential in delivering exceptional service to our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in executing audit, accounting, and various consulting and attest services for clients.
- Prepare detailed and organized workpapers to substantiate audit conclusions.
- Ensure proper documentation in compliance with firm policies and auditing standards.
- Collaborate with the engagement team to complete projects within specified timelines and budgets.
- Apply analytical skills to address complex accounting challenges and specialized tasks.
- Build new client relationships and strengthen existing ones through exemplary client service.
- Thrive in a dynamic work environment while servicing a diverse clientele.
- Engage in ongoing education and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting.
- Currently pursuing CPA licensure; possession of a CPA license is advantageous.
- 0-2 years of relevant experience as an auditor in a public accounting setting.
- Experience working with a wide array of industries such as real estate, 401k, yellow book, life sciences, manufacturing, and technology is preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments within deadlines.
- Excellent collaboration, communication, organizational, and analytical abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Teams, Word, etc.).
