POSITION SUMMARY:
This role is crucial for facilitating the overall execution of service during events, ensuring a memorable experience for our guests. The individual will utilize leadership capabilities to guarantee high-quality service and appropriate food distribution while addressing allergen concerns with the team to prioritize guest safety.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Guide service teams to meet and exceed established service standards for all guests.
- Support the training of new staff members to uphold exceptional service levels.
- Assist in the arrangement of dining areas, buffets, and back-of-house operations to ensure efficient team functionality.
- Participate in catering meetings as needed to maintain effective communication within the team.
- Identify and resolve guest issues promptly and courteously.
- Report quality concerns, pinpoint training requirements, and aid in implementing training to enhance performance.
- Ensure a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all health regulations.
- Collaborate with fellow Banquet Captains to ensure all cleanup tasks are executed properly.
- Engage in large events at off-site locations, assisting with logistics and other necessary concerns.
- Work alongside management to support back-of-house organization and cleanliness, ensuring operational success.
- Assist management with closing duties and reporting to ensure accurate revenue and inventory levels.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Highly organized and self-motivated.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to delegate tasks effectively.
- Capable of thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Provide constructive feedback to the team and share insights with leadership.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- A minimum of 1 year of progressive experience in food and beverage service.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
While performing the duties of this position, the employee is:
- Frequently required to stand, walk, use hands and fingers for handling tasks, and reach with hands and arms.
- Occasionally required to bend, kneel, crouch, climb stairs, and reach overhead.
- Able to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
