Position Overview

The Equipment Integrity Engineer will oversee the complete lifecycle of equipment and technology, which includes design, development, prototyping, manufacturing, and implementation. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing action plans for the replacement of outdated equipment.
  • Supervising the operation of complex machinery and resolving technical challenges.
  • Contributing to the design and implementation of new product equipment.
  • Participating in stress testing for new product introductions (NPI).
  • Identifying and formulating effective solutions to emerging technical issues.
  • Ensuring preventive maintenance and operational efficiency of equipment.
  • Evaluating the performance, reliability, and safety of operational equipment.
  • Ordering necessary materials and equipment while considering various technological options.
  • Researching and advising management on significant equipment purchases.
  • Defining project actions, including delivery needs and documentation requirements, while ensuring compliance with budget and timelines.
  • Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Providing global support and technical training for equipment specialists.
  • Completing required technical and regulatory documentation.
  • Managing junior engineers or technicians and ensuring project completion within specified parameters.
  • Coordinating with other departments for operational tasks.
  • Regularly reporting project status to management.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of engineering experience.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to implement new technologies.
  • Familiarity with 2D or 3D engineering design tools.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and engineering software.
  • Up-to-date technical knowledge for designing and operating core equipment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both technical and interpersonal.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • A proactive work ethic and the ability to work independently.
  • Willingness to travel and work outside of standard office hours.
