Position Overview
- Oversee the lifecycle of equipment and technology, including design, development, prototyping, manufacturing, and implementation, while formulating plans for equipment upgrades.
- Monitor the operation of complex machinery, addressing and resolving intricate issues.
- Contribute to the design and implementation of new product equipment.
- Engage in stress testing for New Product Introductions (NPI).
- Identify and devise effective solutions for emerging challenges.
- Ensure the preventive maintenance and operational readiness of equipment, maintaining relevant databases and conducting data analysis.
- Guarantee the availability and safety of operational equipment, such as roulette wheels and shuffle machines, while assessing overall performance and reliability.
- Manage the procurement of necessary equipment and materials, evaluating various technological options to select the most suitable for operational needs.
- Research and advise management on the acquisition of specialized equipment, outlining necessary actions, documentation, budget, and timelines.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers and contract partners.
- Provide global support for the Equipment Unit, offering technical training to equipment specialists across all locations and advising on operational improvements.
- Complete essential technical and regulatory documentation.
- May handle specific administrative responsibilities.
- Supervise junior engineers or technicians and manage technical documentation.
- Ensure timely project completion within budget constraints.
- Coordinate with other departments for operational and implementation tasks.
- Regularly report status updates to management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline or equivalent professional experience.
- 3-5 years of relevant engineering experience.
- Proficient in resolving technical and engineering challenges and implementing new technologies.
- Familiarity with 2D and 3D engineering design and manufacturing tools.
- Advanced computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office and engineering software.
- Current knowledge and technical expertise necessary for designing and operating core equipment.
- Ability to convey technical information clearly and effectively.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Demonstrated strong work ethic, proactive attitude, and self-motivation.
- Willingness to travel and work outside standard office hours.
