Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and support automation solutions that empower our product teams to efficiently and consistently build and deploy code.
  • Ensure systems maintain reliability and availability that meet customer expectations.
  • Promote the adoption of tools that assist teams with their observability and automation requirements.
  • Utilize and recommend cloud technologies that facilitate rapid provisioning and ensure appropriate reliability.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for development and production challenges.
  • Design protocols for system troubleshooting and maintenance.

Essential Skills:

  • Experience with advanced software configuration management (source control, DevOps, CI/CD, etc.).
  • Proficiency in Linux (any current distribution, Red Hat Enterprise Linux / RHEL, Ubuntu, SLES) or Unix operating systems, as well as Windows.
  • Skilled in scripting languages (Bash, Perl, Ruby, etc.).
  • Familiarity with third-party tools (Artifactory, Jenkins, GitHub, etc.).
  • Experience with monitoring tools such as Grafana and Prometheus.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Knowledge of cloud infrastructure technologies including Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, Azure, GKE, or GCP.

Experience Required:

  • A minimum of 3 years in software engineering, automation, and tools across various contexts.
  • Experience in building and configuring Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines using tools like Jenkins and GitHub Actions.

Educational Qualifications:

A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
