Position Overview:

Join our vibrant customer support team at TEKsystems as a Customer Service Representative. In this role, you will be instrumental in delivering outstanding assistance to our clients through various communication channels, including phone, email, and chat. Your primary focus will be to address inquiries and resolve concerns related to utility services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responding to general service inquiries
  • Managing billing and payment arrangements
  • Assisting with collections
  • Facilitating service connection and disconnection requests

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 1.5 years of experience in recent job roles
  • Demonstrated ability to independently deescalate customer calls
  • 1-2 years of experience in a call center environment
  • Ability to work remotely after training (reliable internet and a private workspace required)
  • Experience in managing multiple software applications simultaneously
  • Proficiency in utilizing dual computer monitors
  • Commitment to achieving first-call resolution

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in collections
  • Bilingual skills (English/Spanish)
  • Previous leadership or training experience in a call center
  • Familiarity with utility services (preferred but not mandatory)

Work Environment:

Our work hours are flexible between 7:30 AM and 6 PM, Monday through Friday. After the initial training period, remote work options will be available based on performance. The first three months will require on-site presence for training, with rotating schedules provided 2-3 weeks in advance. We maintain a strict attendance policy during the training phase.
