Position Overview

We are pleased to announce an increase in starting pay to $15.00/hour.

The Retail Associate I plays a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service while accurately managing the checkout process and efficiently stocking and merchandising products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver outstanding customer service through engaging interactions in the store.
  • Effectively manage checkout procedures, including weighing items, bagging purchases, and processing promotional coupons. Ensure accurate recording of prices, department subtotals, taxable items, and total purchases on the cash register.
  • Perform cash drawer balancing processes with precision, including end-of-shift balancing.
  • Maintain well-stocked shelves and uphold the presentation standards of merchandise.
  • Ensure pricing accuracy across all products.
  • Contribute to maintaining a clean and safe shopping environment.
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • Preferred experience includes at least 3 months in retail or food service.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred.
  • Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 100 lbs, with frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs.
  • Flexibility to meet the demands of the department, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
