POSITION SUMMARY
The Client Care Supervisor is responsible for managing and organizing the schedules of caregivers and clients enrolled in Medicaid programs.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate caregiver assignments to ensure clients receive appropriate in-home care in accordance with regulatory standards and Managed Care Organization (MCO) guidelines.
- Facilitate daily intake and referral operations to support business growth and development.
- Foster a collaborative and positive office atmosphere.
- Assist in daily operations and advocate for clients while working with various stakeholders to enhance service delivery.
- Maintain effective communication with all parties involved.
- Adhere to relevant legal standards, policies, and procedures.
- Exhibit reliability and commitment to the role.
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
- Show proficiency in computer applications.
- Manage complex service programs and special initiatives.
- Stay updated with necessary skills and knowledge to streamline workflow.
- Promote services to potential referral sources.
- Oversee project deliverables and ensure timely execution.
- Engage in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
- Effectively prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Deliver exceptional customer service to both internal and external clients.
- Represent the organization at relevant meetings and events as required.
- Assign new client referrals and open shifts to available agency caregivers.
- Assist in the recruitment and onboarding of new caregivers, including processing necessary documentation.
- Provide backup personal care services to Medicaid members in their residences as necessary.
- Bilingual candidates are preferred in various locations.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
- Preferred: Associate's Degree.
- Preferred: Previous experience working with individuals with disabilities.
- A combination of education and relevant experience is acceptable.
The role typically takes place in an office setting, utilizing a computer, telephone, and other office equipment as necessary. The work environment noise level is consistent with that of a standard office. The incumbent may experience frequent interruptions throughout the day. Regular tasks include sitting, talking, and listening; frequent use of repetitive hand motions; and standing, walking, reaching, bending, or lifting up to 20 pounds. Reasonable accommodations may be provided to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential job functions.
