Business Development Sales Representative, Fortune Media

We are seeking a skilled Business Development Sales Representative to join our team at Fortune. In this role, you will be responsible for building and delivering opportunities for companies to leverage our digital and print assets.
Key Responsibilities:
- You will engage Fortune 1000 companies as sales prospects and showcase suitable solutions and opportunities.
- You will secure appointments with key business decision makers through cold calling, networking, or other means of booking meetings.
- You will conduct calls to introduce and pitch Fortune digital assets as solutions and track all activity in the company CRM.
- You will move prospects forward through the sales process to close and renewal.
- You will act as primary contact for Fortune to communicate relevant and important information to assigned Fortune 1000 companies/clients.
- You will coordinate with marketing, account management, and activation teams to sell and deliver on campaigns.
- You will maintain a full activity calendar of prospective business and create a robust pipeline in order to hit sales goals.
About You:
- You have excellent communication skills and the ability to overcome objections in real time.
- You have 2-3 years minimum in a sales role where cold calling was a primary task.
- You are proficient in Microsoft Office suite, social networking platforms, and CRM tools.
- You have experience developing new business relationships in a sales role.
- You have a strong understanding of lead generation and the ability to connect with viable prospects.
- You comprehend KPIs and goals of clients' campaigns.
- You have a positive attitude with the willingness to learn and grow and build in new product stages.
- You have high energy and passion for the job.
- You have a proven track record in B2B sales, preferably with Fortune 1000 companies.
- You have familiarity with the media landscape, including digital, print, and branded content.
- You have an entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to adapt to changing market demands.
What We Offer:
- We offer a competitive salary range of $125,000 - $150,000 per year.
