Food & Beverage (Server)

Position Overview:
As a Server at The Palm Springs Surf Club, you will be an essential part of our vibrant dining experience. Your role will focus on delivering outstanding customer service while ensuring the smooth operation of our food and beverage services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Welcome guests warmly and professionally.
  • Provide detailed information about menu items and beverages.
  • Accurately take and relay food and drink orders to the kitchen and bar staff.
  • Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Verify the accuracy of orders before delivery.
  • Address customer inquiries and concerns in a courteous manner.
  • Encourage guests to try additional menu items.
  • Prepare and serve drinks according to established guidelines.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining area.
  • Set up tables with the necessary items for service.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service.
  • Process payments accurately and handle cash transactions.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations, maintaining high cleanliness standards.
  • Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed.
  • Participate in training sessions to enhance service skills.

Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in a similar customer service role is preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic math skills for processing payments.
  • Familiarity with food and beverage offerings and potential allergens.
  • Experience with point-of-sale systems is a plus.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Physical stamina to perform the duties of the role.
