Role Summary:

The Food Server plays a crucial role in managing Front of House operations and executing their responsibilities, which include addressing inquiries and resolving customer concerns. The primary goal of the Food Server is to uphold the standards of both the company and its clientele. This position is accountable for enhancing and delivering the establishment's offerings to boost the overall performance of the dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcoming and seating guests in a friendly manner.
  • Taking and accurately inputting food and beverage orders into the system.
  • Recommending menu items to enhance the dining experience.
  • Communicating dietary restrictions or special requests to the kitchen team.
  • Ensuring prompt and precise order fulfillment while maintaining high food quality.
  • Providing attentive service, including drink refills and checking on guest satisfaction.
  • Addressing customer service issues promptly and escalating to management when necessary.
  • Maintaining cleanliness in service areas, kitchen, and dining spaces.
  • Performing opening tasks such as setting tables and preparing the dining area.
  • Assisting management in greeting and seating guests while presenting menus.
  • Informing guests about special offers and menu items.
  • Ensuring beverages are served promptly and refilled as needed.
  • Accurately entering orders into the point of sale (POS) system.
  • Following up on orders with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery.
  • Checking in with guests to ensure satisfaction and gathering feedback for management.
  • Processing customer payments efficiently.
  • Preparing the dining area by arranging tables and setting up decorations.
  • Adhering to sanitation, safety, and alcohol service policies to protect guests and the establishment.
  • Assisting guests in selecting food and beverages by providing recommendations.
  • Recording patrons' choices and special dietary needs for the kitchen.
