Regional Director Job Description

Families Forward, a member of The Fedcap Group, is seeking an analytical, communicative, and mission-driven Regional Director to join the Leadership Team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing leader in the nonprofit sector in Maine.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead, plan, and execute operations in assigned areas, ensuring systems are running effectively and staff have the necessary data, tools, and information to achieve their objectives.
  • Track performance and compliance with contractual obligations to ensure targets are met and standards are followed.
  • Investigate and provide follow-up and mediation for program participant, stakeholder, and staff concerns.
  • Ensure wellness services are delivered according to contractual obligations for individuals served who present medical claims.
  • Establish a high-performing, data-driven regional or functional team committed to the needs of individuals served and achieving exceptional outcomes.
  • Uphold and ensure all employees are fully informed of agency policies and expectations.
  • Run reports in Fedcap CARES and use data to create long-term strategies for assigned area success.
  • Conduct on-going case reviews and site audits to ensure compliance, quality of work, and adherence to standards.
  • Act as a key conduit of information to ensure the workforce is up-to-date on policy, program, and agency changes.
  • Recognize and escalate concerns that may compromise operations and contractual obligations.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to team members through regularly scheduled meetings and supervision.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher degree of education and/or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of program management and supervisory experience, preferred.
  • Non-profit experience, preferred.
  • Demonstrated track record for building and developing community partnerships.
  • Valid driver's license, required.
Work Environment:

This job operates in a professional office environment. The employee is regularly required to talk or hear, stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, and reach with hands and arms. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Travel:

This position requires a minimum of 30% travel within a multi-county area of the state. Specific hours may vary and depend on operational need.
