Charlie Burnham Energy Service, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Field Service Business Training Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for providing consistent training experiences for new hires and existing employees to effectively perform their job functions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver training programs for all employees at various Dead River Company locations.
  • Provide technical training on live-fired equipment at Dead River Institute for apprentices, technicians, and delivery drivers.
  • Maintain the DRI facility and equipment, ensuring all training is up-to-date and compliant with manufacturer requirements and industry codes.
  • Facilitate classroom, small group, and on-the-job training for new hires and existing employees on DRC standard practices, policies, and technology.
  • Partner with regional directors to implement process improvements and modern technology.
  • Identify, design, and deploy training plans, including post-implementation training for process stabilization.
  • Conduct comprehensive training needs assessments with the training manager and internal partners.
  • Provide feedback, propose targeted solutions, create training plans, and manage their execution.
  • Work with new and existing employees on performance issues and retraining as requested by operations leadership.
  • Assist with onboarding new hires to accelerate their assimilation into DRC culture and business processes.
  • Design and update training materials to reflect DRC standard practices.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in delivery, service, or office area.
  • Minimum 3+ years' experience in a DRC management role.
  • Prior experience with training.
  • Experience with web-based computer technology to enhance employee learning.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

This role requires approximately 20% office work and 80% fieldwork or training. The Specialist will travel to all Dead River Company locations throughout Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, and New York.
