About the Role:

Ascendion is seeking a Core Java Developer to become part of the Shared Services group for the Commercial and Investment Banking sector. This role will be pivotal as the team transitions into the second phase of their project, focusing on both inbound and outbound channel production support.

In this position, you will leverage your extensive knowledge and expertise across all stages of the software development lifecycle. You will collaborate continuously with various stakeholders to maintain alignment on shared objectives. We embrace a culture of experimentation, always striving for improvement and learning.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and implementation guidelines.
  • Proficient in Core Java and Spring Boot, with a solid grasp of annotations.
  • Deep understanding of SQL databases, including expertise in data extraction and SQL query creation.
  • Advanced experience with Kubernetes deployments, particularly with Docker images and containers.
  • Expertise in Kafka/MQ processing.
  • Familiarity with application deployment tools such as Git, Jenkins, JUnit, and Cucumber.
  • Experience with scripting languages.

Location:
Onsite presence required three times a week in Tampa, FL.

Salary Range:
The compensation for this role is between $90,000 and $100,000 annually. Various factors may influence pay within this range, including geography, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
