About the Role:
Ascendion is seeking a Core Java Developer to become part of the Shared Services group for the Commercial and Investment Banking sector. The team is advancing into the next phase of their project, focusing on inbound and outbound channel production support.
In this role, you will leverage your extensive knowledge and expertise across all facets of the software development lifecycle. You will collaborate continuously with various stakeholders to maintain alignment on shared objectives. We promote a culture of experimentation and are committed to ongoing improvement and learning.

Key Responsibilities:
- Strong grasp of Agile methodologies and implementation practices.
- Proficient in Core Java and Spring Boot, with a solid understanding of annotations.
- Deep knowledge of SQL databases, including data extraction and SQL query creation.
- Advanced experience with Kubernetes deployments, utilizing Docker Images and Containers.
- Expertise in Kafka/MQ processing.
- Familiarity with application deployment tools such as Git, Jenkins, JUnit, and Cucumber.
- Experience with scripting languages.
Location:
Onsite presence required three times a week.
Salary Range:
The compensation for this position ranges from $90,000 to $100,000 annually. Factors influencing pay within this range may include geographic location, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
