Role Overview:

Ascendion is seeking a Core Java Developer to be part of the Shared Services group for the Commercial and Investment Banking sector. The project is advancing into its second phase, focusing on production support for inbound and outbound channels.

You will leverage your extensive knowledge and expertise across all phases of the software development lifecycle, collaborating continuously with various stakeholders to maintain alignment on shared objectives. We embrace a culture of experimentation, striving for ongoing improvement and learning.

In this role, you will work in a collaborative and trusting environment that encourages diverse perspectives and innovative solutions that prioritize our global customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Demonstrate a solid understanding of Agile methodologies and implementation practices.
  • Exhibit strong proficiency in Core Java and Spring Boot, with a focus on annotations.
  • Possess a robust understanding of SQL databases, including expertise in data extraction and SQL query creation.
  • Have advanced experience with Kubernetes deployments, utilizing Docker images and containers.
  • Showcase expertise in Kafka/MQ processing.
  • Understand application deployment tools such as Git, Jenkins, JUnit, and Cucumber.
  • Experience with scripting is essential.

Work Arrangement:
Onsite presence required three times a week.

Compensation:
The salary for this position ranges from $90,000 to $100,000 annually. Various factors, including geography, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications, may influence compensation within this range.
