Position Overview:
The Senior Oncology Nurse Education Manager will be responsible for the comprehensive training strategy and execution for the Franchise E Oncology Nurse Educator Team.

This position will report directly to the Director of Franchise E Field Training and will oversee an allocated training budget.

Role Responsibilities:
This role is integral to a collaborative commercial team that engages with allied healthcare professionals in targeted accounts, delivering on-label clinical education and in-services aligned with product guidelines.

The Oncology Nurse Educator Manager will assess educational requirements and disease state knowledge on topics such as initiating and managing patient therapies, symptom management, and effective patient identification through educational engagements within a designated geographical area.

This training must comply with AbbVie's promotional and educational standards, ensuring appropriate support for healthcare providers and patients.

Key Duties Include:

  • Collaborating with Oncology Field Training Leaders and key stakeholders to create a cohesive franchise training plan that encompasses both clinical and non-clinical content.
  • Leading the development and implementation of training materials for new and existing hires within the ONE team.
  • Establishing a robust continuing education framework that aligns with AbbVie's 70/20/10 Learning Model.
  • Maintaining and developing content for current and new indications and therapies as dictated by business needs.
  • Implementing a measurement system to evaluate ONE Behavior Change based on applied learning and training effectiveness.
  • Proactively pursuing professional development for oneself and others in marketplace and product knowledge.
  • Managing the budget responsibly and conducting bids as necessary.
