The Russell County Public Service Authority is seeking a visionary leader to oversee the planning, development, and implementation of policies and programs for our water services. As Executive Director, you will provide strategic leadership and direction, manage budget planning and financial management, and collaborate with local government and stakeholders. You will also ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and represent the PSA at regional, state, and national levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic leadership and direction for the PSA.

  • Collaborate with local government, community organizations, and stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and standards.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a leadership role within a public service or utility organization.
  • Strong understanding of water/sewer services, public administration, and environmental conservation.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to develop and implement strategic plans and policies.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or 10 years' experience in utility management.
  • A valid driver's permit issued by the Commonwealth of Virginia.
