Job Title: Finance Director

At Listen Community Services, we are seeking a highly skilled Finance Director to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, the Finance Director will be responsible for overseeing and executing the financial operations of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage the organization's annual budget, financial reporting, and forecasting to support our mission.
  • Oversee all financial activities, including budgeting, forecasting, sales and revenue, and cash flow management.
  • Responsible for the day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, banking, audits, ledger and cost center management.
  • Prepare regular financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, forecasting and cash flow statements, to provide insights into the organization's financial health.
  • Partners with the Director of Development on financial aspects of grant applications, reporting, and compliance requirements.
  • Establish and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard the organization's assets and prevent fraud or financial mismanagement.
  • Conduct financial analysis to support strategic decision-making and resource allocation.
Requirements:
  • A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field is required.
  • At least 5-7 years of progressive experience in business operations and financial management, accounting, or related roles.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) with strong computer skills, including collaboration tools like Teams, SharePoint, Zoom.
  • Strong leader with an ability to guide and mentor employees at all levels, focusing on personal and professional development to enhance capabilities and performance.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to balance transparency and confidentiality.
