Medical Director Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Medical Director to join our team at Alice Peck Day Health Systems. The successful candidate will assist the Medical Director in clinical leadership of providers and clinical staff, ensuring high-quality patient care, fiscal viability, and employee and patient satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the Medical Director in clinical leadership and decision-making
- Collaborate with the Practice Director, Clinical Manager, and Administrative Manager to achieve departmental goals
- Act as a liaison between the provider group and hospital administration
- Participate in Quality Improvement efforts in ambulatory care
- Assist in oversight of Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement activities
- Provide input to Practice Director and Medical Director on strategic planning for the department
- Graduate of a degree-specific, accredited training program
- Board-certified physician (MD, DO) or Advance Practice Provider (APRN, PA)
- Holds a Valid license to practice medicine in the state of New Hampshire
- Successful completion of credentialing process for medical staff membership and privileges at APDHS
- Maintenance of active narcotics and controlled substances numbers and licenses
- Advanced education in the areas of clinical quality, process improvement, or analytics preferred
The Assistant Medical Director will work in a fast-paced clinical environment, requiring strong communication and leadership skills. The successful candidate will be able to work effectively in a team setting and make sound clinical decisions.
