Job Title: Payroll Analyst

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Analyst to join our team at BBSI. As a Payroll Analyst, you will be responsible for providing expert advice on integrated systems solutions for clients' payroll, including proficiency in Bridge Master and other relevant systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify systems options to achieve better results for clients and branches.
  • Become an expert in BBSI Payroll Systems, CRM, Time & Attendance, and other relevant systems.
  • Interface with client stakeholders on payroll workflow processes and identify areas for improvement.
  • Responsible for full understanding of BBSI's Billing, Citrix pricing, and assisting clients with invoices and general ledger postings.
  • Become subject matter expert on client data, including trends, turnover, new employee onboarding, and ongoing or seasonal headcount fluctuation.
  • Perform voids, payroll adjustments, stop checks, check verifications, garnishments, W-2 and W-2c administration, and data entry and file maintenance.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3-5 years of garnishment and payroll experience in a fast-paced, multi-state, demanding environment.
  • Customer service experience and conflict management skills required.
  • Systems orientated including proficiency in MS Excel.
  • Knowledge of wage and hour laws, garnishment laws, and taxability of wages.
  • Solid understanding of the payroll lifecycle, amendments, and payroll deductions.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Bachelor's degree required; CPP or FPC designation a plus.
  • Extensive third-party payroll experience a plus.
  • SQL experience a plus.
