Box Office Representative

SUMMARY:
Provide assistance to patrons with ticket acquisitions via telephone and in-person interactions.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Address inquiries regarding pricing, seating arrangements, and event details with professionalism and promptness.
+ Process payments as agreed and ensure proper distribution of tickets.
+ Maintain an accurate daily ledger of cash transactions and tickets issued.
+ Execute ticket requests at the will-call counter in accordance with established protocols.
+ Open and close the ticketing window as necessary.
+ Regular attendance is a critical component of this role.
+ Must successfully complete a background and credit assessment.
+ This position requires the ability to operate across all ASM Global venues.
+ Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
+ High School Diploma or equivalent.
+ A positive demeanor and professional appearance.
+ Strong interpersonal communication abilities.
+ Outstanding problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
+ Experience in Box Office or Guest Services (18 months preferred).
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
+ Manage cash transactions responsibly and provide accurate change.
+ Follow instructions and effectively complete tasks as directed.
+ Perform basic computer operations within ticketing software.
+ Organize and accurately enter customer information.
+ Employ proper phone etiquette when interacting with guests.
+ Work independently and collaboratively with minimal supervision.
+ Proficient in spoken and written English.
+ Carry out other related tasks as assigned.
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:
Flexibility in working hours is required, with primary shifts during events, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
To succeed in this role, an individual must be able to fulfill each essential duty satisfactorily. The qualifications listed are representative of the knowledge, skills, and abilities required. PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
This role involves walking, navigating stairs, standing, bending, and may require lifting items up to 30 lbs. Regular use of hands for handling and counting currency is necessary. The individual must be capable of climbing stairs and walking long distances to access seating areas. Ability to operate a two-way radio and communicate clearly is essential. Specific vision requirements include close vision. Interaction with large groups of people may occur in a fast-paced environment.
