Job Summary

The Patient Service Representative is a vital member of the Hunter Health Clinic team, responsible for delivering exceptional customer service to patients and their families. This role requires a high level of communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Phone Support: Respond to patient inquiries in a timely and professional manner, providing accurate information and resolving issues efficiently.
  • Dispatch and Routing: Effectively dispatch calls and messages, ensuring that patients receive the necessary support and attention.
  • Knowledge and Training: Maintain a thorough understanding of clinic protocols, policies, and procedures, as well as services offered.
  • Data Entry and Reporting: Accurately input patient information and track phone data, providing insights to improve metrics and service benchmarks.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with the Business Operations Manager and Patient Advocate to address patient concerns and complaints, and provide suggestions for process improvements.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of customer service experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to multitask, and strong problem-solving skills.
Working Conditions

The Patient Service Representative will work in a well-lit, climate-controlled environment with moderate noise levels. The role may require occasional lifting of up to 10 pounds and exposure to infectious diseases.
