Job Responsibilities

As a participant in our structured Accelerated Sales Program, you will acquire essential sales knowledge, skills, and expertise to thrive as a Client Relationship Executive.

  • Engage in classroom learning, independent study, and practical training to understand the company's business model, product offerings, customer requirements, job site conditions, competitive landscape, pricing strategies, and effective sales techniques.
  • Generate actionable sales leads and prospects through various channels such as industry databases, sales events, site visits, networking opportunities, and vendor showcases.
  • Conduct outbound business development calls.
  • Develop and implement strategic account plans.
  • Articulate and promote the White Cap value proposition and product offerings.
  • Gain insights into effective sales strategies by shadowing experienced Account Managers or District Sales Managers.
  • Process and manage customer orders efficiently.
  • Seek and act upon performance feedback.
Work Environment

Typically situated in a comfortable indoor setting, with occasional exposure to mild physical discomfort from elements such as dust, temperature variations, or noise. Most of the time is spent seated comfortably, with frequent opportunities for movement. On rare occasions, light lifting may be required.

Overnight travel is generally minimal, less than 10% of the time.

Qualifications

Generally requires a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. Certification may be necessary in specific areas.
Typically, 0-2 years of experience in a related domain OR a Master's degree with 0-1 year of relevant experience.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline, or one to two years of experience in sales or a similar field.
  • Strong communication abilities and comfort in engaging with team members.
  • Demonstrated self-management, proactive mindset, personal accountability, and growing independence.

  • Goal-oriented with a commitment to meeting performance metrics.
  • Open to constructive feedback and willing to take steps to enhance performance.
  • Proven ability to plan and organize daily tasks effectively.
