Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled CNC Programmer/Operator to join our team at iMPact Business Group. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for programming and operating CNC turning centers, supervising a team of operators, and ensuring the highest quality standards are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and optimize programs using M & G code and CAD software.
  • Setup and operate CNC lathes and milling machines, ensuring accurate and efficient production.
  • Inspect parts for quality and accuracy, identifying and addressing any defects or issues.
  • Design and manufacture fixtures for milling operations, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Assemble bearings and pins into parts manufactured, adhering to strict quality control standards.
  • Perform routine maintenance on equipment and tooling, ensuring optimal performance and minimizing downtime.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in CNC programming, setup, and operation.
  • Deep understanding of turning operations, technical blueprints, and 3D models.
  • Experience in defining and designing holding fixtures and inspection instruments.
  • Knowledge of cutting tool selection and optimal cutting conditions.
  • Proficiency in metric system and ability to work in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a strong focus on quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with a strong sense of urgency and initiative.
  • Microsoft Office Applications skills, including Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
