We are seeking a dedicated professional to become a part of our Manufacturing Engineering Team, focusing on the evaluation of assemblies linked to advanced aerospace programs.

This role will involve leveraging cutting-edge technologies such as Augmented Reality, 3D Scanning/Metrology, and portable measuring instruments to assess assemblies against established customer specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret and analyze component and assembly blueprints, including geometric dimensioning and tolerancing, to define manufacturing processes and requirements.
  • Investigate manufacturing challenges and defects to identify root causes, providing support for corrective measures.
  • Spot opportunities for process enhancements and develop effective solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with production personnel to gather insights on manufacturing practices and tools.
  • Conduct training sessions for supervisors, engineers, and operators on the use of inspection tools and software.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work autonomously, prioritize tasks with minimal supervision, and adapt to shifting priorities in a dynamic work environment.
  • Exhibit strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Manage multiple projects effectively within tight deadlines.
  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field from an accredited institution.
  • Experience in a manufacturing operations setting.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.

Desired Skills:

  • Experience in product inspection.
  • Familiarity with MetraSCAN Optical 3D scanning technology or similar equipment.
  • Knowledge of PolyWorks Inspector software or equivalent 3D metrology analysis tools.
  • Experience in reverse engineering and associated software.
  • Background in CMM or other inspection technologies.
  • Understanding of GD&T as applied to engineering drawings.
  • Six Sigma Certification, preferably at the Green Belt level.
  • Experience with RCCA methodologies.
