The Event Ticket Sales Associate plays a crucial role in delivering outstanding customer service and optimizing ticket sales on event days. This part-time position is based at Ford Field.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Event Ticket Sales Associate will be tasked with various responsibilities, including but not limited to:
  • Efficiently managing ticket sales and will call while providing exceptional customer service at ticket sales windows.
  • Exhibiting a high level of proficiency with ticketing and point-of-sale software.
  • Accurately processing orders, handling payments, and ensuring the correct delivery of event tickets.
  • Updating and maintaining customer account information.
  • Making informed decisions in high-pressure situations.
  • Organizing tasks and managing event-related documents.
  • Demonstrating excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with diverse individuals.
  • Maintaining attention to detail in cash handling and basic accounting practices.
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Exhibiting punctuality and reliability, with a commitment to a minimum of 75% availability on event days.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Providing outstanding customer service at ticket sales windows.
  • Engaging actively with a diverse clientele while maintaining a strong focus on sales and service.
  • Taking on additional duties as assigned by the supervisor that align with the objectives of this role.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Customer-service oriented with a friendly demeanor.
  • Ability to solve basic mathematical problems.
  • Effective in responding to sensitive inquiries or complaints.
  • Dependable and committed to fulfilling work schedules and job responsibilities.
  • Experience in customer service and guest relations.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong technological aptitude.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Professional demeanor when interacting with guests, fans, and staff.
  • Willingness to be available for at least 75% of all ticketed events, with shifts typically lasting around four hours.
