About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled ASIC Design Engineer to join our team at Cisco Systems. As a key member of our Common Hardware Group, you will play a critical role in designing and developing next-generation networking chips.

Key Responsibilities
  • Closing timing at block, sub-chip, and full-chip levels
  • Performing quality checks such as setup, hold, transition, and noise
  • Managing ECO tasks and advising the Physical Design team on best practices
  • Developing methodologies, guidelines, and checklists to streamline STA work
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical or computer engineering (or equivalent field)
  • 7+ years of related work experience
  • Expertise in industry-standard STA tools and proficiency in scripting for automation
  • Strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of timing analysis concepts
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in electrical or computer engineering (or equivalent field)
  • Experience with synthesis tools, formal verification, and parasitic extraction
  • Knowledge of Cisco's products and technologies
