We are seeking a highly skilled Senior ASIC Verification Engineer to join our team at USA Tech Recruitment. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for ensuring the pre-silicon correctness and quality of complex ASIC designs.
Key Responsibilities- Verification of ASIC Designs: Ensure the correctness and quality of multi-million gate ASICs that integrate computational accelerators and 3rd-party SoC IP blocks.
- SoC/Subsystem Verification: Verify embedded CPUs such as ARM/RISC-V and interconnect subsystems, including C and assembly diagnostic validation.
- Verification Environment Development: Develop block-level, sub-system, and full-chip verification environments and tests to implement test plans.
- Collaboration with Design Teams: Work closely with design and architecture teams to understand functional and performance goals of the design and ensure the design-under-test works under all specified circumstances.
- Troubleshooting and Debugging: Triage and debug functional and performance issues with the design-under-test.
- Bug Tracking and Coverage Convergence: Handle bug tracking and coverage convergence.
- Diagnostic and Post-Silicon Validation: Perform diagnostic and post-silicon validation tests in the lab.
- 5+ Years of ASIC Verification Experience: Proven experience in ASIC verification, with a strong understanding of ASIC design and verification principles.
- Technical Expertise: Knowledge of ARM/MIPS/RISC-V architectures, memory hierarchy, cache coherency, virtual memory, and multicore CPU operation.
- Protocol Knowledge: Familiarity with AMBA/APB/AXI protocol and processor peripheral interfaces such as SPI, eMMC, MII, GPIO, and I2C.
- Programming Skills: Excellent Verilog/System Verilog programming skills and experience with UVM (or similar).
- Scripting Experience: Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python, Perl, TCL, and shell programming.
- Education: B.S. degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering (or similar field).
