Job Summary

BIS Consulting, Inc. is seeking an experienced Wireless PHY ASIC Design Engineer to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement WiFi Baseband modem architecture and processing blocks.
  • Develop state-of-the-art microarchitecture for WiFi PHY hardware based on signal processing algorithms.
  • Implement and deliver PHY RTL design according to fixed-point reference model.
  • Support FPGA prototyping or SoC Lab validation.
Requirements
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in EE or related field.
  • BS/MS/Ph.D. in EE or related.
  • Knowledge of b/a/g/n/ax/ax/be) WiFi PHY baseband spec.
  • Experience with fixed-point digital design and RTL implementation.
  • Expertise in verification and validation of signal processing ASICs.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of wireless communication systems such as WiFi, Bluetooth, UWB, 4G LTE, and 5G NR.
  • Experience with low power design.
  • Familiarity with RFIC architecture.
