Customer Service Specialist

This role is crucial to the success of our retail stores. As a Customer Service Specialist, you will work closely with wholesale and retail customers to understand their needs, provide expert advice on Sherwin-Williams products, and recommend solutions to meet their requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and loyalty
  • Assist customers in person and over the phone, determining their needs and presenting relevant products and services
  • Build strong relationships with wholesale and retail customers, understanding their needs and preferences
  • Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, adhering to company policies and procedures
  • Meet and exceed sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis
  • Maintain accurate work order files and formulas, ensuring seamless operations
  • Pull products from the sales floor or warehouse, as needed
  • Tint and mix products to customer specifications, ensuring quality and consistency
  • Stock shelves and set up displays, maintaining a visually appealing store environment
  • Clean store equipment, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency
  • Load and unload delivery trucks, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries
  • Assist with deliveries, as needed, to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Maintain in-stock and presentable condition assigned areas, ensuring a positive customer experience
  • Remain knowledgeable on products offered, discussing available options and features
  • Comply with inventory control procedures, ensuring accurate stock levels and minimizing waste
  • Suggest ways to improve sales, driving business growth and success
Requirements:
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for employment work visa status now or in the future
  • Must be able, with or without reasonable accommodation, to retrieve material from shelves and floor stacks and lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 70 lbs. on occasion
  • Must be willing to work all scheduled hours, which may include evenings and weekends, with or without reasonable accommodation
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Have a valid, unrestricted Driver's License
  • Have at least a High School diploma or GED
  • Have at least one (1) year experience working in a delivery, retail, or customer service position
  • Have previous work experience selling paint and paint-related products
  • Have previous work experience operating tinting and mixing equipment
  • Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in more than one language
  • Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate in Spanish
