Position Summary: We are seeking a RN Nursing Supervisor to enhance our clinical team. Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8am to 5pm

Note: This position may require occasional on-call duties for emergencies, including evening and weekend visits.

Work Environment: This role involves a combination of office work and patient home visits, with some flexibility for remote work.

Compensation: The salary range is $71K-$73K per year, with potential monthly incentives up to 10% based on office performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate care for assigned clients, developing a goal-oriented care plan from admission to discharge, including ongoing assessments of client needs.
  • Conduct supervisory visits to evaluate client conditions, family dynamics, environment, and the performance of clinical caregivers, followed by necessary documentation.
  • Ensure the availability and proper functioning of essential equipment and supplies for patient care.
  • Deliver direct care to clients as required.
  • Manage client and family expectations, ensuring satisfaction with services provided.
  • Assess the quality and effectiveness of nursing practices, using data to identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide updates on nursing care and facilitate re-authorization for continued services.
  • Oversee the training, orientation, and evaluation of clinical field staff.
  • Identify professional standards and areas for development within the nursing practice.
  • Contribute to the education and professional growth of staff and students.
  • Participate in staffing decisions, including hiring and termination processes.
  • Maintain compliance with company policies, regulations, and professional standards.
  • Exhibit professionalism in accordance with registered nursing standards.
  • Deliver nursing care in alignment with best practices and professional standards.
  • Base decisions on ethical principles, fostering a respectful and inclusive care environment.
  • Participate in after-hours client care as needed.
  • Promote quality and safety in client care through adherence to quality assurance plans.
  • Assess clients and provide direct care as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Active RN license in the state of practice.
  • A minimum of 2 years of hands-on nursing experience.
  • Ability to travel to patient homes within the designated area.
  • Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
  • Current CPR certification from an accredited organization.
  • Willingness to supervise nursing staff providing in-home care to diverse populations.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to communicate effectively in English.
  • Capacity to travel; personal transportation is required.
  • Occasional lifting and moving of patients and equipment.
  • Prolonged periods of walking, standing, and physical activity.
  • Ability to respond to emergency situations appropriately.

Work Environment:

  • Ability to work in various environments, including potential exposure to allergens and infectious materials.
