Key Responsibilities:
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with corporate policies and procedures in local purchasing processes to minimize risks and streamline operations.
  • Purchase Order Management: Monitor the electronic transmission of purchase orders to ensure supplier confirmation and verify that purchase requisitions are properly approved.
  • Inventory Management: Ensure compliance with delivery dates, quantities, prices, and characteristics of goods or services in purchase orders.
  • Supplier Management: Perform maintenance on purchase orders, follow up on invoice presentation, and manage advances, urgent payments, and invoice blocking as necessary.
  • Reporting and Communication: Generate follow-up reports and status updates on purchase orders to keep clients informed about the purchasing cycle.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in similar roles.
  • Skills: Knowledge in purchasing, client negotiations, and inventory monitoring, as well as bilingual English/Spanish proficiency.
  • Personal Qualities: Results-oriented and knowledgeable of purchasing technologies and management tools.
