Job Title: Simulation Education Program Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Simulation Education Program Manager to join our team at the Johns Hopkins Medicine Simulation Center. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of simulation-based educational programs for healthcare professionals and trainees.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the simulation education team in collaborating with faculty, subject matter experts, and other stakeholders to design, develop, and implement simulation-based activities.
  • Provide direction and leadership to the simulation education team, establishing work priorities and fostering a collaborative team culture.
  • Oversee a diverse portfolio of simulation-based educational projects, guiding their development and implementation within specified timelines and budgetary constraints.
  • Coordinate with JHMSC leadership to accomplish the goals, mission, and vision of the center.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in education or a science-related field.
  • At least 10 years of simulation experience.
  • Strong interpersonal, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and display diplomacy.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and responsibilities simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Registration and licensure in a related healthcare field.
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (CPR) and/or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
  • CHSE or CHSE-A certification or obtained within two years of hire.
