Job Summary

The Area Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our facilities, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and adherence to company standards. This role requires a flexible schedule, with core hours between 3pm and 12:30am, although flexibility is essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Training and Development: Train supervisors and employees in assigned job duties, ensuring they have the necessary skills to perform their roles effectively.
  • Safety and Compliance: Conduct regular safety audits and provide training to ensure a safe working environment. Identify and report any potential hazards or non-compliance issues.
  • Customer Engagement: Foster strong relationships with customers, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded. Investigate and resolve customer complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  • Employee Management: Mentor and develop employees to take on leadership roles, providing guidance and support to help them grow in their careers.
  • Task Management: Assign tasks to associates and inspect completed work to ensure company standards are met. Identify areas for improvement and implement changes as needed.
  • Problem-Solving: Resolve employee problems or refer matters to the Operations Manager. Investigate and document customer complaints, providing a recommended action plan to the Operations Manager.
  • Account Management: Assist in the start-up of new accounts, providing information to management and meeting with customers to ensure their needs are met.
  • Timekeeping and Attendance: Verify employee attendance and timekeeping records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Quality Control: Conduct building inspections to maintain a high level of quality, meeting customer and company standards.
  • Policy Enforcement: Ensure all company policies are followed and enforced, including those related to safety, customer service, and employee conduct.
  • Financial Management: Review and assist in the management of budgets and staffing levels for all buildings within the company's realm of possibility.

Requirements
  • Must be 18 years old.
  • 1-2 years of managerial experience required.
  • 3-5 years of supervisory experience required.
  • A pre-employment criminal background check is required.
  • Driver's license required.
  • Drug screen required.
