About the Role:
The Front Desk Service Coordinator will be responsible for providing direct customer service to patients, coordinating appointments, and maintaining accurate records. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients via phone, email, and in-person interactions
- Coordinate appointments, manage schedules, and ensure timely patient check-in
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including demographic information and medical history
- Process payments, handle billing inquiries, and resolve any related issues
- Collaborate with healthcare providers, nurses, and other staff members to ensure seamless patient care
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a positive work environment
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., healthcare administration, business) or equivalent experience
- 1-3 years of experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a healthcare setting
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Proficient in using electronic health records systems and Microsoft Office Suite
Salary:$45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience
