ABOUT THE ROLE

Are you an accomplished sales professional with a keen interest in data solutions? Join our vibrant team as an API and DaaP Account Executive. We seek a motivated individual to lead the sales of our innovative data offerings, including Spectra Analytics and other Data as a Product (DaaP) solutions accessible through our API. This role complements our existing Enterprise sales team, targeting key customer segments that utilize our DaaP and API services. Additionally, you will contribute strategically to cross-functional sales initiatives aimed at potential ELM clients.

A DAY IN THE LIFE OF OUR API AND DaaP ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE:

Drive Growth - Exceed sales objectives by acquiring new clients and enhancing our footprint in current accounts.

Strategic Product Planning - Employ a methodical and analytical approach to manage a portfolio of use cases, effectively positioning our DaaP and API solutions. Maintain an updated sales pipeline and provide strategic insights on pricing and positioning.

Sales Strategies - Develop and implement comprehensive account plans to maximize revenue for new products. Build and leverage relationships within existing and prospective accounts to drive strategic initiatives.

Creative Marketing and Prospecting - Innovate to raise awareness of the Altium vision. Design and execute targeted campaigns for key customer segments.

Customer Acumen - Acquire a thorough understanding of each customer's strategic use case, growth objectives, technology infrastructure, internal challenges, and competitive landscape.

Advance and Close Sales Opportunities - Effectively implement the sales strategy and roadmap to secure deals.

Net New Revenue, Adoption, and Conversion - Meet new business revenue targets while collaborating closely with our Enterprise and support teams to ensure effective sales synergy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct Sales and Account Management: Engage and manage key customer segments. Proactively manage the sales pipeline, identify growth opportunities, and ensure strong sales enablement and customer support.
  • Sales Support and Collaboration: Work alongside the Enterprise sales team to position, quote, and secure DaaP and API contracts. Provide expert advisory services for enterprise-level data opportunities.
  • ELM Opportunity Advisory: Utilize your expertise to assist the Enterprise sales team in positioning and securing ELM contracts, enhancing the overall sales strategy with your product and process knowledge.
Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated experience in sales, particularly in data solutions or related fields.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the PCB design and electronic component industry, including PLM, ERP/MRP sectors, and business intelligence.
  • Experience collaborating with consultants and institutional investors is advantageous.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building abilities.
  • Capacity to work collaboratively with the Enterprise sales team and provide strategic insights.
  • A proactive and results-oriented approach.

The salary range for this role is $160,000-$170,000 OTE. Actual compensation packages within this range are based on various factors unique to each candidate and role requirements, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and specific location.
