About the Role

This is a pivotal position that requires a deep understanding of commercial insurance and exceptional client management skills. As the primary point of contact for a portfolio of clients, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships, addressing inquiries, and providing expert advice on insurance matters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Management: Foster and maintain strong relationships with key client stakeholders, serving as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts.
  • Account Oversight: Manage a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts, including policy renewals, endorsements, and claims, ensuring comprehensive, cost-effective, and aligned insurance programs.
  • Risk Assessment: Conduct thorough risk assessments and analyses to identify potential gaps in coverage and recommend suitable solutions, collaborating with clients to understand their risk profile and insurance requirements.
  • Policy Placement: Work with insurance carriers to obtain and negotiate coverage options, terms, and pricing, ensuring competitive and client-centric policy placements.
  • Claims Management: Oversee the claims process from start to finish, working with clients and insurers to facilitate prompt and fair resolution of claims, providing guidance and support throughout the process.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor and support junior account managers and staff, sharing industry knowledge and best practices to enhance team performance and development.
  • Compliance & Documentation: Ensure accurate, complete, and compliant insurance transactions and documentation, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations and best practices.
  • Business Development: Identify opportunities for expanding existing client relationships and acquiring new business, collaborating with the sales team to develop strategies for client retention and growth.
Requirements

We're looking for a seasoned professional with a minimum of 7-10 years of experience in commercial insurance account management, with a proven track record of managing complex accounts and high-value clients. The ideal candidate will possess:
