We are seeking a strategic and experienced Director, Financial Operations to oversee and manage the financial operations of our headquarters. The Director, Financial Operations will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial reporting, maintaining robust internal controls, and providing financial insights to support business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Leadership: Lead and manage the headquarters accounting team, ensuring high performance and alignment with company goals.

2. Financial Reporting: Oversee the preparation and review of consolidated financial statements, ensuring compliance with U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and regulatory requirements.

3. Financial Processes: Direct the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.

4. Accounting Policies: Develop and implement effective accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity.

5. Audit and Compliance: Coordinate and manage internal and external audit processes, addressing findings and implementing corrective actions as necessary.

6. Financial Analysis: Provide strategic financial analysis and insights to senior management to support business planning and decision-making.

7. External Relationships: Manage relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, and other financial consultants.

8. Special Projects: Lead and participate in special projects and initiatives, such as system implementations and process improvements.

9. Team Development: Mentor and develop accounting staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.

10. Industry Knowledge: Stay abreast of changes in accounting standards and regulations, ensuring the company remains compliant.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA certification required; MBA or other advanced degree preferred.

- Minimum of 10 years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership role.

- In-depth knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting standards.

- Proven experience managing complex financial operations and driving process improvements.

- Strong proficiency in accounting software and financial management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).

- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

- Strong leadership and team management skills, with a track record of developing high-performing teams.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
