Position Overview
The Pneumatic Systems Service Specialist plays a crucial role in the initiation and technical support of IPEG, Inc.'s pneumatic conveying and dedusting systems. This position involves assisting in process design, which includes the creation of P&IDs and Process Flow Diagrams. The specialist will report directly to the Director of Process & Quality Engineering.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver start-up commissioning services for designated projects;
- Travel as necessary to vendor and client sites, both domestically and internationally;
- Assess all essential technical documentation (such as P&IDs, operational sequences, equipment schematics, general arrangement drawings, electrical wiring diagrams, specification sheets, and manuals) for accuracy prior to the commencement of service visits;
- Develop an equipment start-up strategy and related documentation, in collaboration with the Project Engineer, before the start-up visit;
- Generate detailed reports to document service and start-up activities;
- Assist Process Engineering with AutoCAD Plant 3D models, 2D drawings, layouts, P&IDs, process flow diagrams, and bills of materials as required;
- Interpret project documents, including customer specifications;
- Aid Process Engineering in the sizing and selection of equipment in line with project specifications;
- Participate in internal and external Kick-Off meetings to fully grasp project and delivery requirements;
- Maintain organized project files in accordance with IPEG's filing system;
- Address customer inquiries, complaints, and warranty claims related to assigned projects promptly and cost-effectively, whether on-site or remotely;
- Provide support to the Sales team as needed;

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline;
- A minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience and/or training in engineered systems, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, preferably with pneumatic conveying and dedusting systems;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is essential;
- Familiarity with AutoCAD 2D and Plant 3D software is preferred;
- Capability to read, interpret, and create documents such as purchase orders, contracts, specifications, engineering reports, blueprints, office procedures, parts lists, and pricing books;
- Ability to compose routine correspondence;
- Effective communication skills, both individually and in group settings with vendors, clients, and colleagues;
- Experience with SAP is advantageous;
- Willingness to travel to vendor and client locations, with a valid US Passport when necessary;
- Capability to perform start-up and inspections, including climbing ladders to access platforms and silos in client facilities.
