Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Technician to join our team at Wulco, Inc. as part of our NextGen Armor division. The successful candidate will be responsible for the assembly and installation of various electrical cables, circuit boards, and electrical subassemblies. This is a hands-on role that requires strong technical skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.


Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble and install electrical cables, circuit boards, and electrical subassemblies on both the interior and exterior of vehicles.
  • Coordinate with other technicians to ensure the completed vehicle meets requirements and is finished according to the build schedule.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving electrical issues.
  • Responsible for the tap-in of assigned electrical cables, control boxes, switches, lighting, and electrical components and assemblies.
  • Support and participate in troubleshooting and resolving electrical issues within assigned areas of the build.

Requirements
  • Formal training or 1-2 years of experience in automotive (12V) electrical systems installation and troubleshooting.
  • Ability to read, understand, and follow written instructions, preferably engineering drawings and schematics for electrical designs.
  • IPC 620 certification beneficial.
  • Demonstrated ability to participate in a small team, recognize and execute to priorities, solve problems, create simple plans, perform to schedules, and communicate effectively.
  • Must be a team player and able to perform efficiently under tight time constraints.
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
