We are looking for a Practical Nurse Specialist (LPN) to join our Substance Abuse Treatment center. In this role, you will be instrumental in aiding individuals on their path to recovery from substance use disorders. The successful candidate will be essential in delivering nursing care, managing medications, and providing support to clients undergoing treatment.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver nursing care in alignment with established protocols and guidelines.
  • Perform health evaluations and oversee the physical and mental health of clients.
  • Administer medications and assess their effectiveness.
  • Work collaboratively with healthcare teams to create and execute personalized care strategies.
  • Inform clients about health promotion, illness prevention, and available treatment options.
  • Keep precise and current medical documentation.
  • Offer support and encouragement to clients throughout their recovery journey.
Qualifications:
  • Valid LPN license from the state.
  • Experience in a substance abuse treatment environment is advantageous.
  • Understanding of addiction medicine and treatment methodologies.
  • Strong clinical and evaluative abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Capability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Salary Information

$28-$43 hourly; based on licensure.
