Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Electromechanical Assembly Specialist to contribute to our innovative environment at JBT Corporation. Our Automated Systems division is recognized globally for delivering advanced automated vehicle systems (AGVs) across various industries including automotive, food & beverage, healthcare, and consumer goods manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
- Executing electro-mechanical assembly tasks, which include point-to-point wiring, cable harness layout, and basic mechanical assembly.
- Utilizing and interpreting electrical wiring diagrams to effectively bind wires using sleeves, cable lacing, cable ties, and conduits.
- Employing various hand tools to assemble laser-guided autonomous vehicles designed for material handling applications.
- Conducting self-audits and inspections of assembled work prior to final evaluation, ensuring adherence to drawings and checklists.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A demonstrated ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, bills of materials, and electrical schematics.
- Prior experience with hand tools and power tools, as well as fitting equipment such as cutters, wire strippers, and crimping tools.
- The physical capability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- A high school diploma or equivalent from a trade school.
