Job Overview

Position Title: Manufacturing Process Specialist

We are in search of a dedicated and skilled Manufacturing Process Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that production machinery operates at optimal levels of quality and efficiency. This position involves maintaining essential documentation and spearheading enhancements in manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide proactive leadership by training, motivating, and developing team members.
  • Set up machinery in alignment with production schedules.
  • Monitor production metrics and implement necessary tool changes.
  • Assist in root cause analysis for equipment issues.
  • Conduct basic preventative maintenance on machinery.
  • Communicate production updates effectively.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and guidelines.

Required Skills:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Familiarity with Computer-Aided Quality (CAQ) systems.
  • Ability to operate all machinery involved in the manual assembly process.
  • Mechanical aptitude.
  • Experience with Human-Machine Interface (HMI) systems.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills.

Employment Type: This is a permanent role.

Work Environment: This position operates in a dynamic, production-focused setting, producing a high volume of parts monthly. The workspace is climate-controlled, clean, and well-lit. Flexibility in shift work and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) may be required. A High School Diploma or equivalent, along with 1-3 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing context, is necessary. Equivalent combinations of education and experience may also be considered.
