About the Job

The Senior Account Executive is a key role within the account servicing team, responsible for day-to-day media liaison and project management. This individual will thrive on successfully pitching clients' stories to the media, integrating thought leadership and digital strategies into PR campaigns.

Responsibilities
  • Assist account lead with client and project management
  • Offer sound advice and recommendations to clients and team regarding media strategy, tactics, and media opportunities
  • Maintain relationships with clients, establishing a long-term partnership for marketing and communications services
  • Identify and secure opportunities within the media landscape, building a solid understanding of national, regional, industry-specific, and vertical channels
  • Regularly generate new story angles and share with account leads and teammates
  • Attend and coordinate industry events to grow and strengthen individual and media network
  • Understand and develop knowledge around finding a good news angle or hook
  • Take a developmental approach to improving writing ability, adapting and refining style to suit client needs
  • Work to ensure a consistent level of quality for all written content
  • Use social media platforms to expand network, develop media relationships, and positively impact client results or PR campaigns
