Position Overview:

The Technician role is essential for the assembly, installation, and operational readiness of production machinery and new model tooling across our automotive facilities in North America.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborating with specifications, manufacturing, design, and production teams for project planning and execution.
  • Interpreting electrical diagrams and wiring production equipment according to specifications.
  • Conducting input/output and functionality tests for new tooling and equipment, ensuring quality standards are met before delivery.
  • Traveling to various automotive facilities for on-site installations.
  • Installing production machinery at automotive plants throughout North America.
  • Developing and modifying assembly and installation timelines for production equipment.
  • Overseeing and guiding contractors involved in the construction and installation of production machinery.
  • Performing electrical diagnostics and troubleshooting on equipment.

Qualifications for Success:

Experience in maintenance programs, tooling fabrication, or robotics, along with project management skills and strong communication abilities are essential.

Required Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years in the electrical field or a relevant degree.

Educational Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED.
