Job Summary

ZF Group is seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician to join our team as a Maintenance Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing equipment by performing electrical maintenance and repairs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine electrical maintenance and repairs on manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems to identify and resolve issues.
  • Read and interpret electrical drawings and diagrams to understand system configurations and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement electrical maintenance programs and procedures.
  • Conduct regular inspections of electrical systems to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest electrical safety regulations and best practices to ensure compliance and minimize risk.
  • Develop and maintain technical knowledge by attending training sessions and workshops.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to achieve maintenance goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Minimum of three years of experience in industrial electrical maintenance.
  • Proficient in troubleshooting and understanding of automated manufacturing equipment.
  • Knowledge of electrical safety regulations and best practices.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and diagrams.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in the automotive industry.
  • Knowledge of German and/or Spanish language.
  • Manufacturing experience.

The associate must occasionally lift and /or move up to 50 pounds.

Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to focus.

Work Environment: While performing the duties of the job, the associate is exposed to an engineering lab atmosphere with some office exposure. The engineering lab includes a machine shop, where the associate is exposed to potentially hazardous equipment and moderate to high noise levels, both requiring the use of protective equipment to ensure the safety of the associate.
