About the Position

The City of Maple Grove, MN is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facility Supervisor to join our team at the Maple Grove Community Center. As a Facility Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the community center, providing exceptional customer service to our patrons, and supervising a team of part-time staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facility Management: Oversee the daily operations of the community center, including facility setup and teardown, event coordination, and maintenance of equipment and facilities.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to our patrons, responding to their needs and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise and direct a team of part-time staff, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful operation of the community center.
  • Security and Emergency Procedures: Ensure the security and safety of the community center and its patrons, responding to emergencies and incidents in a timely and effective manner.
  • Administrative Tasks: Perform administrative tasks, including operating a cash register, processing room rentals, and completing reports and other paperwork.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required; 2+ years of experience in facility management or a related field preferred.
  • Skills and Abilities: Excellent customer service skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, strong communication and problem-solving skills, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Certifications and Training: CPR certification and basic first aid training preferred.
