We're looking for an organized and proactive Lead Building Supervisor to ensure these events run smoothly and efficiently.

Are you an enthusiastic multitasker with excellent organizational skills and a passion for event management? Join our team as a part-time Lead Building Supervisor. In this role, you’ll oversee school events, ensuring seamless execution and a safe, enjoyable experience for all attendees.

Responsibilities:

  • Review facility permits and set up special equipment or supplies as requested.
  • Schedule and monitor Building Supervisors; resolve scheduling conflicts. 
  • Provide technical and procedural assistance to Building Supervisors.
  • Completing and submitting required reports (e.g., no-shows, incident reports, blood borne pathogen incident reports ) to Community Education Facilities Scheduling.
  • Providing building supervisor performance feedback to the Community Education Program Manager.
  • Accommodate non-permitted users and resolve permit issues.
  • Submit required reports and provide performance feedback.
  • Greet guests, provide directions, and accommodate special requests.
  • Ensure safety and security, assist with event tear down, and handle emergencies; calling 911 if necessary. .
  • Responsible for minor Blood Borne cleanups. 
  • Remaining alert to potentially unsafe situations and notifying custodians of unsafe conditions; stopping any unsafe or questionable activities.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED; over 18 years old.
  • Successful completion of District Blood Borne Pathogen training.
  • Experience working with adults and children in an employment or volunteer setting.
  • Proficient in using various technology tools and software.

Salary/Work Schedule: 

  • $19.00/hour; Casual, Part-time, hours vary depending on event schedules. Plus an additional 2 hours/month for scheduling.
  • Events occur outside regular school hours: Elementary School shifts from 6 PM - 9:30 PM, M-F; Secondary School shifts from 5 PM - 10 PM, M-F; Weekends vary.
